FACT’s Immune Effector Cell (IEC) Standards and accreditation program promote patient safety and access, protects the research environment, and assists health care entities with achieving controlled processes, receiving grant funding, and gaining institutional support. FACT is committed to supporting efforts to make quality immune effector cellular therapy accessible to patients much like it did for blood and marrow transplantation and cord blood banking. Several resources are available to assist with understanding immune effector cells and implementing FACT Standards.
These documents are only examples of implementing aspects of an IEC program and are not required by FACT.
